About Fariello's Confectionery
Fariello's was originally founded by Samuel Fariello on Lincoln Ave in Amsterdam in 1925 and is still commonly known as "Sammy's". With three booths, a few tables, a half a dozen counter seats, as well as serving as a local post office, the tiny shop was usually a busy and crowded place. The shop changed hands several times over the years, and is now currently owned and operated by Adolph Sorensen and Theresa Dufel. |

Adolph and Tree have kept all the old fashioned furniture and decorations that make a visit to Fariello's like a trip back in time. In addition to ice cream sundaes, cones and sodas, Fariello's offers a wide variety of homemade chocolates and confectioneries, special gift baskets, and can accommodate small parties.
